Songshan District, Taipei City｜新東鹽酥雞（紅牌）

Best Taiwanese salt and pepper chicken I’ve had during my whole month here in Taipei. The coating wasn’t too thick and was very crunchy, and the meat quality was great (no fat, cartilage or bone). They add just the right amount of basil as well and the seasoning was well flavored. Price was fair too.

The No.1 鹹酥雞 of all time imho !! I’ve been going to this place since my childhood. The quality and tastefulness of the foods have never changed. The C/P value is very high. Come try it out yourself and you’ll see what I mean 👍
