West District, Chiayi City｜Chiayi Sanya turkey rice

Fast and delicious chicken rice just in front of Chiayi main train station. The price is really cheap and taste so good. Nice proportion. Crowded during the meal time

I call this the blue shop (no 2) because of the big sign, but it’s red from the ground. Anyway, the people who work here are the best and so helpful. They did everything to help translate and provide the best service for someone who cannot read Mandarin. The turkey rice has garlic on it in this store which may not be to everyone’s taste. But I felt cosy and happy there. There are fish soups and things like that... I probably wouldn’t recommend it. Stick with the turkey rice... perhaps get an egg and a side dish. Anyway, I think it’s great.

This is one of the few places that gets 5 stars from me. Rice, turkey & sauce all spot on. A tip for people that didn't enjoy it as much. Try to order only what the shop specialise in. Even that famous fish head shop sells chicken rice but I'd not bother. It might be ok, but I'd rather split up my meal and go restaurant hopping and hunt down the best dish at the best shop.
