For authentic local dessert, it doesn't get any better than this shop! Basically it is various combination of Taiwanese sweet dessert with greenbeans kernels soup base. I know it doesn't sound appealing but trust me, you need to try it yo believe it. First off, the soup base is a bit slimy, due to the vegetables gelatine. The various staple dessert like dark brown sugar jello, osmanthus jelly, yam and sweet potatoes glutinous balls, even the herbal jello are all homemade in this joint!! Which explains why some of it might look different from those mass produced processed food out there! You can be sure minimal additive as they serve the same to their children!!
