Thanks for the kind store attendant, I could order what I wanted. The jelly was non-fatty and very natural. I used to eat more sweeter ones so it was bit surprising but the taste overall was fine for such a hot and humid Taipei weather.

Super good! I really recommend visiting. I just need to say portion is super big and you may consider sharing with someone, but definitely manageable still by one person. Below shaved ice you get a lot of grass jelly too. What you can see on the picture is NT$180. I'm very happy I found this place.

Make sure to check their Facebook page since Google Maps still has their address listed incorrectly as of this review! I had a semi-religious experience the first time I came to this shop. My girlfriend and I got the normal grass jelly dish, which came first, but the real star of the show was the one with shaved ice. I'm allergic to milk and luckily they have an oat milk topping instead of the usual condensed milk that goes with shaved ice. I'd highly recommend giving it a try. Neither is too sweet (I tried the one with regular milk my second time here), but I prefer the oat milk, maybe because it gives it a bit of a stickier texture that I like. The purple rice has a fragrant flavor and I'd highly recommend eating it on its own. Normally, I'd say that and the taro and sweet potato balls, along with clear tapioca balls, would be a highlight for me. But the ice and grass jelly, with the sweet taro on top, is so good, those other warm items are rightfully placed on the side. This also avoids melting the ice.
