Da’an District, Taipei City｜Yu Pin Yuan Iced and Hot Tangyuan

The best tang yuans I’ve ever tasted! The skin is perfect and served hot, soft and super tasty. The fillings are generous and tastes good. Having them served on top of shaved ice is also a perfect combination. The shop is also clean, air conditioned and they even have a table partition to separate you from others if it gets crowded so it’s very comfortable. Highly recommended!

Love the dessert and concept of the tangyuan, we got the mixed tangyuan with sweet fermented rice on ice! It is nicely presented with 6 tangyuan (3 peanut & 3 black sesame). As someone who doesn't like peanuts, I was impressed by the peanut filling as it has a slightly sweet caramelised flavour to it, which made the peanut taste slightly milder. Black sesame filling is great too! The sweet fermented rice added a slight sourness to the dessert which I really like! There is also this osmanthus sauce that is placed on each table, we added it and some lemon juice into our ice dessert and it is super refreshing! Dining in queue also moves quite fast despite the snake queue forming outside the shop. Overall, will definitely recommend to try out this tangyuan shop! ☺️👍🏻

Some of the best 汤圆 I've ever had in my life! This was a perfect refreshing snack on a hot night in the night market! The slight sweet, fragrant flavor of the osmanthus syrup was also the perfect accompaniment to the ice. It's located at Linjiang night market and cash only. Everything is very affordable! Service is fast and friendly. I'd definitely come again!
