The best thing to do after a hurricane is to go out for a bike ride. The weather's still a bit damp but the sporadic showers keep you relatively cool. Now every bike ride in Taiwan is only complete with a nice relaxing bowl of dessert afterwards. We got a bowl of green beans with tofu and a bowl of grass jelly konjac in cold milk. It doesn't sound that appetizing in English... But the homemade tofu is the textbook definition of smooth. And that grass jelly konjac is a nice combination of slurpy and chewy. Pro tip though, the tofu syrup is much sweeter than the cold milk. I'd eat the cold milk first otherwise, you'll miss out on the the subtle sweetness of the grass jelly and konjac.

This dessert shop is run by a really friendly couple, even though my Mandarin is almost non-existent and they don't speak a lot of English they did their best to understand me and make me feel at home! Had a great bowl of sweet tofu and white fungus soup here!

Wide selection of Chinese tofu pudding flavors with reasonable price . The staff ( basically an old couple ) here are extremely friendly and kind !
