So far, this is my favorite of the buffet-style vegan restaurants near Feng Chia University (even though most Taiwanese students would consider ten minutes too far from campus to walk). The variety and quality of dishes is excellent, and the food doesn’t taste greasy. Although there are some processed foods, they take a backseat to whole vegetables. For instance, one of my favorite sides that I've had there is sliced lotus root with carrots, and wood ear in lime juice. The serve-yourself price is NT$1 per gram of veggies. Rice (white or purple) or noodles (selection depends on the day) is extra. Tofu, ginger, and wakame soup is complimentary. Or you can ask for a full-service bento, which includes rice and six to seven different veggies. Prices start at NT$70 and increase by increments of NT$10, based on desired portion size. Public service announcement: please don’t talk while going through the buffet line, and bring your own dishware and cutlery to cut down on trash.

Delicious vegetarian food with a nice view of the park. You’ve got your usual choice of white or whole grain rice on the side, but they also have noodles which is an added plus.
