Had a fantastic lunch here. The 1950s building has been well restored and looked after. Food is great. Make sure you try the onion salad thing.

The carrot cake is crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. Smoked duck is well done. Siew mai was alittle dry imo so can skip that. The truffle mushrooms porridge is the highlight. Truffle is not too overpowering for a light dish. Quite a fusion combination. Most importantly, it tastes good.

十二月就是要十二月來 ;) Soul warming congee with comforting ambience. Taiwan comfort food at a comfortable price. You’ll also be comfortable and without pain of finding parking in Taichung because they have on site parking ;)
