Central District, Taichung City｜板前燒肉 一徹

Great Yakiniku hidden in the alley of the “older” part of Taichung town. All the guys behind the bar are genuine, fun and knowledgeable of their beef and meats. The wagyu we had were from Saga Japan), it was beautifully marbled and very rich and flavorful. Most important of all, it was cooked to perfection and nicely seasoned. They also had Angus beef from the US, local chicken and pork on the menu. A few wines by the bottle and a slightly larger selection of sake. The place is clean and service was friendly and attentive. I’d go back again when craving good beef 😋

This is a delicious barbecue place in Taizhong. There is a selection of beef, pork and chicken cooked in front of you. I recommend you to go there for casual meetings with friends/family for dinner. The chefs are also very kind and the food is fresh. Overall, this is a great place to come if you are looking for a casual dinner.
