West District, Taichung City｜湖南味牛肉麵

A super friendly local diner featuring braised dishes. A friend of mine spoke highly of it and took me here before diving. The noodles are chewy, the soup tasted rich and their homemade pickled cabbage is a wonderful appetizer. Our body were warmed by these delicious food and felt like absorbing enough energy for our sporty activity. Definitely will come again next time.

Not so much Hunan (I'm from that region), but the food is still very good. The stewed meats are sold by weight and, to me, is the main draw here (noodles are also good!). Definitely worth a visit if you're around the area.
