Yingge District, New Taipei City｜阿蓮脆皮紅豆餅

A must visit while in Yingge. The prices went up to 15nt each now but still worth it. Get the signature red bean with crispy skin yet tons of filling inside. Two thumbs up.

An excellent Taiwanese version of Imagawayaki (今川焼き). We got red bean and creamy custard both were yummy! Crispy skin (need to enjoy right away), soft thin spongy underlayer and thick filling which you can taste the grainy but smooth buttery texture of red beans. With the right amount of lighter sweetness. Highly recommended when you are in the need for a quick satisfying snack before visiting more Yinggo shops.

Very yummy with lots of red beans fillings. Not too sweet. Only NT15 each. Very good deal.
