Hengchun Township, Pingtung County｜Europe Love onion ice cream

The owner was kind enough to explain everything to us in both Chinese and English and told us he got the idea from his daughter. We had a nice time and the food was so good! He also had AC!

Lovely little store that’s a must try if you’re ever in the area. Not only are the desserts creative, the story behind it is adorable as well. Tried the mulberry and passion fruit ice cream and while there are bits on onions, fret not - you won’t taste it at all! The ice cream is really flavourful and all the items are hand made by the owner who is really friendly and generous! He’ll happily share how he created the food and where the ingredients came from (spoiler - it’s all locally sourced!).

10/10 would recommend!! The owner’s super friendly and takes so much pride in his ice cream, he even comes out to explains his dish. We went with the mulberry & passion fruit onion ice cream for 100 ntd and it was amazing - he made it work, the flavours blended well and all the flavours of the fruits are homegrown! All in all a must try and you’ll probably have a second serving before you go!
