Fantastic cakes! Each of them is beyond description. I only bought the festival cookie box for the first time, being impressed by the flavor and texture of cookies. Though the price is higher than average products, it’s totally worth it for the high quality ingredients to satisfy your expectations. Before leaving my lovely city Tainan, I came here for those window display cakes and some souvenirs during the Moon Festival. Services are as good as their products. The only problem is my stomach which is just like a bird! Highly recommend as below: Saint-honoré, a velvety smooth vanilla cream with crisp and flaky layers! What a wonderful and classical French pastry. Cocolitchi, coconut flavor belongs to the white part, along with the litchi cubic makes the flavor more appealing! The moon, I really love the Earl Gray mousse with berries inside! Salted chocolate cookie, there are many shops made this, but KAKES is the best I’ve ever had!

This is an amazing pastry shop that is quite underrated. It is owned by a Hong Kong couple who left Hong Kong due to the island's growing loss of independence in governance and autonomy. Everything we tried was not only cute, but also extremely tasty. The owners were also very friendly.

Pretty hidden dessert shop in Tainan. All the desserts are so pretty and yummy. Staffs are nice. And you can dine in within 1.5hours.
