Write in front: I am from Guangzhou, China, and have eaten countless snail noodle dishes. I am pretty good at eating spicy food and know how to eat it. This is the first snail noodle restaurant I have eaten since coming to Taiwan (I miss it so much (●'◡'●)ﾉ) I happened to be passing by Taichung and searched for it. When I came to this restaurant, I saw that the reviews were very polarized. I thought it was quite interesting and decided to give it a try. I also want to give you some popular science and some tips. 💁🏽‍♀️Not recommended for people: princesses/princes who can’t eat spicy food 1⃣️Because snail noodle is considered a niche mainland snack in Taiwan, it has a special method and flavor, which not everyone can accept. It is not recommended for those who don’t have the basics of snail noodle (at least those who have eaten Haohuan snail/Li Ziqi/Shou Treasure one of them, and like and accept it) 2⃣️Because the essence of snail rice noodles is the layer of spicy oil, the tableware is usually oily (there may be residue after washing). If you mind that the tableware may be oily, it is not recommended to eat it. 3⃣️The environment is a bit "dirty" because it will cause everyone to use a lot of paper towels (to wipe sweat or squeeze noses). If you are busy and have no time to clean and maintain, it may look inelegant. 4⃣️ Not recommended for girls who mind messy makeup and hair. You will keep sweating while eating (even if the air-conditioning is strong), which may affect the makeup effect. It is not recommended to choose snail powder for dating🙅🏾‍♀️ 💁🏽‍♀️Some popular science: The birthplace of snail noodle is Liuzhou, Guangxi. Liuzhou is located in a low latitude area with relatively high temperatures and sultry climate, which can easily lead to loss of appetite. Therefore, Liuzhou people like to eat sour food to stimulate their appetite. The snails in Liuzhou snail noodles refer to the stone snails used in the soup base. The sour smell in snail noodles comes from sour bamboo shoots, which tastes very sour and stimulates appetite. 💁🏽‍♀️Recommendation: If you can’t eat spicy food, order it or not (it’s also spicy). If you want to advance, try a little spicy food. If you can eat spicy food, order medium spicy food! Very cool 💁🏽‍♀️Overall review The taste is average, and it should be regarded as an excellent snail noodle in Taiwan (it is considered authentic) Advantages: Spicy oil is fragrant, the soup base is boiled rather than mixed with a conditioning bag, you won’t be thirsty after eating it, the powder is sufficient, garlic is added (increases the aroma level) and overall it is very authentic👍🏾 Disadvantages: The amount of ingredients and sour bamboo shoots is small (not too smelly), the pot roast (crispy roasted pork), tiger skin duck feet, and fried eggs are missing. It’s a pity that you can’t add ingredients, and the price is not cheap (after all, foreign snacks, the process is complicated, you can understand) 💁🏽‍♀️As for the attitude of the store, because it was during the free time of 13:30-14:30 on weekdays when I went there, the store was very quiet and there was no phenomenon mentioned in the negative reviews. However, we cannot generalize. Everyone is welcome to add. PS There is no extra charge for the take-out lunch box. There are 4-5 slices of barbecued pork. It is normal for your stomach to feel burnt after eating it. If your stomach is not used to it, you may even have diarrhea. 🤣Everyone just eat to taste.
