If you appreciate fine french cuisine, L'Atelier par Yao may be the place for you. We had a wonderful dinner here, starting with delicate amuse bouche, and delightful entrée. There was really no way to describe how good the bouillabaisse with a small seafood tartelette and a spoon of pastis was!! The main course quail, stuffed with foie gras and served with berries and spices, was heaven in every bite. Both the wine pairing and the non-alcohol pairing were exquisite and matched the food. excellent combination of rich food, attentive service, and lovely atmosphere made for a memorable evening. This is my favorite French food we have eaten in Taichung so far. The service is attentive and attentive, the environment is comfortable and quiet, and the food is delicious and the details are unique and ingenious. It makes us think about it every time. The two appetizers, "Corn Ice Cream Popcorn" and "Yellow Wine Mushroom Lily", were both amazing to us, especially the latter when eaten with Domoto's French bread. It was really delicious. The rich bouillabaisse is enhanced by a spoonful of ouzo, and the seafood is made into a small tart for the finishing touch. The main dish of quail wrapped in chicken liver is served with sweet and sour berries, which is warm and refreshing. The non-alcoholic pairing "Wind and Rain" is special and goes well with meals, and the wine pairing selection is also very good. The impression on our first visit was very good. Although it is quite far away from downtown Taichung, it is still worth a special trip in the future.

Yaron as the sommelier in the house will definitely know what you need and what you want to creat your lovely night. Definitely the restaurant you shouldn’t miss up in Taichung.
