My parents and I found this place when we came to Taichung, and it was such a good find! Since it was our first time there, the waiter kindly explained where the self-serve water, utensils, and condiments were placed. He also showed us where the restroom was, as he led us to be seated. The menu is a digital QR code that we could scan. They also have paper copies for those who need them. The food was served soon after our order was placed, and each item was so well made. The noodle soups were all not too heavy--perfect for anyone who's feeling under the weather. The pan-fried buns were crispy on the bottom and juicy on the inside. The soup dumplings came as piping hot juicy parcels. The beef scallion pancake rolls were also stuffed with beef and cucumbers. We also ordered a steamed veggie dish that was quite yummy as well. The portions were all quite generous, and everyone was stuffed by the end of the meal. Every dish we ordered, we thoroughly enjoyed. To top it off, I loved the esthetic of the restaurant. The entire space wasn't very large, but every area had its own purpose. There were maybe 7 tables, but it didn't feel crowded. The self-serve areas were all very well organized, and the restroom was kept clean. One thing I really liked about the place was that perhaps they kept some of the older parts of the building? The door of the restroom and a (blocked off, you can't see outside of it) window reminded me of a door and window I'd see at my grandma's house. Overall, it was a very comfortable place to dine in, and I wish I had taken more pictures of it. Pricing was very reasonable for the attentive service, the ambiance, and the delicious food. I will def recommend it to family and friends!
