I consider this place to be a Chiayi icon. Certainly nothing fancy, but they serve up simple, honest, inexpensive traditional Taiwanese food. I always go for a plate of blood rice, sweet potato leaves, and some won ton soup. They have excellent noodles here, both of the soup and dry variety.
