Luodong Township, Yilan County｜金味坊豆花

The 蚵仔煎 (oyster omelette) for NT70 is seriously good here. Every place makes it differently, but it is easy to fail if you put too much potato starch or overcook the oysters. This place is popular so I had to come in at 10:30AM for a try. It’s across the street from the Luodong high school. The boss made mine this morning - it was a perfect balance of spinach, egg, oysters, potato starch, and home made sweet and spicy sauce. When it’s this well balanced and yummy, it qualifies as comfort food. It’s best eaten piping hot, off the grill. They provide disposable chopsticks. The 紅豆牛奶冰 (red bean, milk, ice) for NT55 was good, not extraordinary. I ate in for this, too, but I recommend takeout, as there are no disposable spoons. I’ll try out some other cold desserts in the future, but it’s the 蚵仔煎 that’s a must have.

Best of the best dessert between Taipeh and Yilan. as i compare the quality, taste and pricing to this 2 area. this particular shop's dessert can beat those famous dessert in Taipeh. Description please look at the attached photo. when u go Yilan, do not miss this dessert shop! otherwise u will never really taste the best dessert of Taiwan.

The boss is a warm-hearted, generous and interesting person. The 35 yuan tofu pudding (white snow) has a moderate sweetness and a good taste. Sit outside and enjoy the tranquility of the afternoon. The cool breeze blows slowly in the evening, and a feeling of happiness arises spontaneously!
