What a pleasant surprise! This is a small family owned shop with surprisingly good Xiao Lung Bao (soup dumplings). It's no Ding Tai Fung but for this price with their excellent local and sincere service, it's tremendous value and fulfilling all taste buds! Their variety of soups, noodles, steam rice dishes, appetizers etc provide ample choices. Healthy, hearty, filling and oh so satisfying! Always busy because they simply provide awesome food super service and super wallet friendly. Strongly support, solid 5 stars, support your local shops like this gem here! Try their signature yet simple "Paai Gu" (pork chop) which is very tasty, juicy and tender!

AMAZING food!! We went to try it out and ended up going back the next day because we enjoyed it so much. Visiting family in Kaohsiung from the US and the soup dumplings here were some of the best I’ve had. We tried a variety of dishes and sides and enjoyed every mouthful. I’m still dreaming about the greens and the golden kimchi 🤤 If you’re visiting the Kaohsiung area this is a wonderful place to try top-notch local cuisine. I’d recommend it to tourists and locals alike. Overall, great food, clean facilities, and a very friendly and accommodating staff. A must-try for sure!

My Wife and I visited this little spot while on our trip to Taiwan, the place is restaurant is labeled as a soup dumpling location but they serve a wide variety of different food items. The staff greeting us was warm, charming, and accommodating helping with the language barrier and working with us to figure out the best items to try. One of the little things that you usually give up when eating at a smaller mom and pop location is cleanliness, but this place was one of the cleanest places I have eaten at since being in Taiwan, including some higher end restaurants. That being said, they did not compromise on that rustic home cooking feel. The food was simple but had all the flavours that you are looking for a traditional Taiwanese meal. I would highly recommend. Take advantage of the refrigerator full of sides to buy and the easy ordering system. The price was right on point being cheap enough to fill you up but not too much to question the quality of the food like you would at some of the night markets. Overall I recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a casual and traditional, Taiwanese family styled cooking. If you are in the area I would stop in.
