From the Taipei store to Tainan, the taste is not much different. Although there are occasions when the quality control is not good in the Taipei store, after the reaction, the restaurant handles it very well and the attitude is very polite. There are occasional new dishes, but basically every dish is delicious. No mines, rice bowls are super delicious. A great place for Hunan cuisine in Tainan. Food is excellent. Restaurant is neat and clean. Price is reasonable for restaurant style of eating. The most famous Hunan dish known to Americans is General Tso’s chicken. That is about it. Sadly to say, General Tso Chicken was invented by a great Hunan chef from Taipei, who passed away recently. It is not even an indigenous Hunan dish. Here are three dishes my family had, Dry bean curd with shredded beef 香干牛肉絲 Chairman Mao’s delight 毛氏紅燒肉 Spicy pot pig intestines and stinky tofu 干鍋臭豆腐
