I loved this restaurant! the food is very good and the owner is very friendly and helpful. Easy to get around the menu using Google translate or Google lens , the owner also speaks a bit of English. It's a good place to get a pint of Taiwanese beer , relax and enjoy some good food. We ordered beef fried rice , vegetable sir fry and beef stir fry, it was reasonably priced and tasty. The times listed in Google are correct so don't be afraid to go in and ask if they are open, if you don't see anyone inside. Tainan is very quiet after 7 and you won't see many people around inside restaurants. Will definitely visit again next time.

Really good food. You can Google Lens your way through the menu if you don't read Chinese. Covers all the types of meat you'd normally want. Owner is very personable, speaks Mandarin, Taiwanese Hokkien, & a bit of English. Good place to relax and take your time (don't rush them to cook!) His meal saved our trip that day.

It’s a great traditional Taiwanese cafe. Cute dog too!
