Very satisfying fresh barbecued eel. The set menu for “unagi don”, or a bowl of eel on rice, with sides and soup was 380 yuan. It tasted extremely fresh and I was impressed by the firmness of the meat, something not often encountered in the farmed unagi of Japan. The proprietress is very kind and it’s apparent that everything is prepared in-house. We appreciated the soft jazz in the background.

Tasty freshly grilled eel. Really satisfied with the set menu. Will return.
