I have been there countless times and tried all their dishes. The food is simply amazing. They could definitly charge more for that quality. They are often quite full. It is apreciable that some restaurants still try to serve food with passion and less as a pure buisness. I only regret that they had to stop their late night menu. Their night soup menu was amazing as well. But we can't really complain it must have been tiring to keep running two menu and two restaurants at once like they did. Just a question of taste : maybe the drinks are slightly too sweet for me. But after all this is Tainan ! And the food on the other had is always perfectly seasoned. Best place to eat in the east district !

It is a small restaurant that feels like eating at home, with reasonable prices, delicious main dishes, ample side dishes, and a balance of meat and vegetables. The boss and his wife are serious, and the restaurant environment is simple, bright and elegant. Clean and sanitary. It is one of the rare places where you can have a casual meal, and it is also a family restaurant that I go to at least once a week. Another feature of the restaurant is that every dish is freshly prepared, which may also lead to a backlash from a few customers who are not used to it, leading to Emotionally direct negative comments are really unfair to the owner who likes to work hard and cherish quality. This restaurant has good food, high P/C value, good environment and hygiene, and is highly recommended by most customers. On the menu, the Cantonese-style Yiyaki is very special, with five spices added, a bit like memories of Taiwanese sausages in the past. Every time I eat it it brings back memories of smoking sausages as a child. Chive chicken drumsticks are derived from the ancient method of cooking scallion oil chicken. The meat is tender, sweet and delicious. But if there is not much oil, add more juice to drizzle the rice. You can definitely turn white rice into chicken rice. This dish will definitely be a hit. The sweet and sour old meat is a must-order whenever you have a bad appetite, much like you want to drink sugary juice when you are in a bad mood. The owner changed the original pieces of meat into slices and coated them with some flour. After cooking, the outside is crispy and absorbs the juice, while the inside is soft and delicious. The contrast between crispy and soft is also a characteristic of the food. The owner couple strives to convey the old-fashioned home-cooked flavor and family dining environment to diners.
