You gotta know someone important in order to get your hands on this popular Lukang sweet treat. It's actually really good and may be worth the calories. The kids loved it! It's not too dry at all, just perfect soft and moist and just sweet enough. Goes really well with milk or coffee and would make an amazing afternoon tea. Tastes better than a scone and would probably be amazing with jam. It's great that you can keep it out of the sun and just in room temperature for 17 days but ours will not last that long!!!
