One of my favourite things about this restaurant is that they add a small portion of 燙青菜 to almost every dish - it’s very sweet touch and healthy too, ensuring that everyone gets at least a minimum serving of fibre per meal 素排饭 85 NTD: 5 stars The day I tried this, it was a bowl of brown rice with 2 servings of leafy veg, one beancurd, one beancurd skin, mushrooms, and a “fish” patty. Great variety and nutrition in one meal! 当归面 65 NTD: 4 stars 烫青菜 40 NTD: 5 stars Generous portion 饺子（原味）: 4 stars

This is extremely near to our place of lodging, and we visited it at 510pm. According to its opening hours, it reopens in the evening at 5pm, and already the little cafe's 7 seater area was full and there was a queue. Small and unassuming, but yet it had really delicious Braised Meat Rice (魯肉飯). We devoured bowls of it! The sesame noodles (炸醬麵) is great too. Less deserving was the Angelica Sinensis soup (當歸湯) which had great reviews here, but we have had better ones before. This was a bit bland to us. Still, a wonderful find and it's a gem. Visit them in the morning for their dumplings and if you are heading for dinner, go before 6pm. The boss says they are often sold out by 6ish.
