Qianjin District, Kaohsiung City｜妙善公主素食養心鍋

Such a special and warming experience eating here in this family owned restaurant. We ate the hotpot, special soup and oyster omelette as suggested by the son. I Every little element was perfectly thought through and the medicinal broths were cooked for 72 hours with over 30 herbs! We have never eaten something so nourishing it was a real treat. We also got treated to some tea, herbal tonic soup, green Guava (incredibly aromatic!) and delicious braised tofu! I would come back to Kaohsiung just for this meal again. Thank you 🙏

The food was very tasty and flavorful, because the owner had to braise this medicinal soup for 72 hours. I was lucky enough to drink a special tea, Du Zhong tea, that was brought back by the owner's son from Japan. Both of them were very hospitable. They could speak English. The ambiance was very soothing. I would highly recommend this place.

Love this place! Very kind and happy staff! Food is delicious - definitely recommend going here for those eating vegetarian or vegan ☺️!
