Datong District, Taipei City｜永樂車輪餅 | 古早味車輪餅

I like the wheel cakes here cos their fillings are special yet tasty. Sweet - purple potato, taro and savory - radish are my recommendations.

On weekends, you can always see a line here. This is a famous snack in Taiwan called che-luen-bing（wheel pies as they look like wheels with different flavor inside.) Here the owner they made the stuffing themselves. The normal red beans flavor is different here. They use the bigger beans not everyone can accept it. Me personally like the purple sweet potato stuffing. Not too sweet and you can enjoy the real taste from the vegetable! And it only cost 20 Taiwanese dollars why not give it a try!
