Lovely little cafe, with surprisingly elegant desserts and exceptional flavors. Not your regular sweets - the fig and cheese tart was crunchy, buttery, savory and sweet with a fresh fig topping and bits of herbal thyme. I only wish they would open earlier. This would be a lovely spot for a morning coffee and pastry and I'm sad I'll never get to try their coffee with them opening at such a late hour.

Most Mont Blanc I've had leans heavily towards the sweet cream and not enough chestnut flavor, but this place puts the chestnut at the forefront. The strawberry chiffon is light and the cream tastes fresh, almost dissolving on the tongue. There was clearly lots of care given to the desserts, which justifies the price. The salted egg Bretonne was a bit too sweet and the salted egg flavor was covered up, but the pastry part was delicious. The environment is an interesting combination of cozy and open. The space feels like an attic, but with the glass doors open to the alley it doesn't feel claustrophobic. Interior noise kind of echoes throughout the room though, so we might try a balcony seat next time.

Lovely speakeasy coffee shop. No one will notice in a million year if not told. Once walk up the stairs, you will be Surprised. Noticed the chilled hippy music and simple and minimalist interior design. Slightly industry touch. Open kitchen. Drinks and food seems great. The latte I ordered was ok. If I ever need a chill and relax afternoon. This is definitely the go to place. RECOMMEND!
