Best black sesame pastry I have tasted in TW. Should have gotten more!! Shop ladies reminded me to keep all in fridge because they don’t use preservatives. When I got home, I warmed the pastries in the oven for 5 mins and all tasted like right from their pastry kitchen! 😋

Delicious and delicately made, Taiwanese take on the Japanese wagashi. Seems to be popular with the locals. Opens 9am during the Chinese New Year season. There are seats outside to enjoy what you picked. Strawberry mochi and dorayaki a must try!

One the famous cake stores, very traditional and popular. Was lucky enough to buy the strawberry mochi and some other cakes, they change their menu during the season, so if you ever pass by around come over and enjoy.
