Toucheng Township, Yilan County｜The Thirsty Owl

This place is a blend of a Netherlands and Taiwanese coffee shop. I brought my Dutch mother here with my family for her birthday, and she hasn't stopped singing its praises. The owner is very welcoming and makes you feel like family. Both the food, drinks and energy of this place makes you want to stay forever. Whether it's a great night out and laughs with friends or a place to wind down look no further.

Super fun and cozy bar in a historical Japanese building. Can’t beat this location, right next to train station, you can take train here and drink without had to worry about driving. It’s a nice place to hang out and get some drinks. Super friendly atmosphere. You will soon discover that this is a local expat hangout spot. Mix with many different nationality. Interesting conversations.

You don’t normally run into a place like this. Everything is enjoyable and one of a kind. The owner has set high standards on many aspects, except prices are lovely. You can’t help wondering if she runs this place simply for fun. The vibe is cozy and relaxed, feeling like going to a friend’s house, definitely worth visiting.
