Da’an District, Taipei City｜韓豐豆腐煲

This is not a general Korean restaurant you usually go in Taipei. This one is an American type of Korean restaurant. And that’s why I love it. In US, it’s pretty common to have a tofu set with a plate of fried meat (pork/chicken/beef). Before your set is delivered, there are always appetizers serving as small dishes. Same as traditional Korean cuisine. Location: close to Liu-Zhang-Li MRT station but still require 10 mins walk. Parking: a huge parking space next to Shangri-La FarEastern Hotel. Food: the flavor is exactly the same as what I had in LA. Love it! Service: table service is provided. Price: dinner time. Set menu is about 500 TWD per person (service charge included) Nearby, there is a cinema (Blossom Cinema) around the corner of Dun-Hua S. Rd. It’s really nice for families to enjoy a weekend night time with Korean dinner and a great movie.

This is the first time I have encountered a favorite Korean cuisine. The bibimbap is mouth-watering, and the original tofu soup is rich and delicious. The point is not to be thirsty after eating, which greatly distances it from other Korean restaurants.

Family style korean food in town, good for family or friends casual dining. Side dishes are refilled available. Food and service is great. This place is by far the most American style alike Korean restaurant in Taipei.
