East District, Tainan City｜小鳥不吃肉

I walked by one day noticing a line out the door. Upon further inspection, it appeared to be a vegetarian restaurant with very chic decor. What really got me to return the next day to try it was the menu. The menu is small but everything seemed enticing. Once I got a taste, I was hooked. I had to feed my addiction everyday when I was in Tainan. Seriously, if the daily special isn’t available, try one of their regular entrees. If rice isn’t available, try the popcorn chicken! I hope they stay there for a long time. I can’t wait for my next vacation in Taiwan😋 Of course, the better idea would be for them to come and open a restaurant in New Jersey 😝

I just read their facebook and heard they're moving and have closed up shop. I'm so sad! I only moved to this neighborhood a few months ago, but I loved having this place as a quick and healthy vegan bento option . I thought the menu was delicious and creative. I wish them the best on their move!

Their food is good, every day offers different menu (not all is always available) ~ but very tasty with yummy rice. The lady will make you a leftover bento if you show up late, which is very nice of her.
