Absolutely amazing and cheap vegan food. The 素肉燥飯 (fake pork rice) and 蓋飯便當 (rice, veggie bento) are delicious. Around 110ntd / 4usd total. You won't find better quality for this price, a classic hole in the wall.

I'm so obsessed!! New favorite vegan place in Taipei ♡ this food is the Taiwanese comfort style food of your dreams, filling and nutritious and not to mention super cheap and fast!! Loaded with flavorful toppings from marinated tofu skin and take meats and tofu to lots of local veggies ~ super good variety and texture and the goal is just so so so good!! The miso soup is so multi-dimensional flavorful too, there's not just miso paste but some celery and other flavored oil that makes it so much more savory and addictive 😍 and the owner is the sweetest (married?) Couple that are both so friendly!! I cannot rave about this hole-in-the-wall enough!!

A hole in the wall place literally on the side of the street. The food is superb for what it is and what they charge. I recommend getting their 麻醬麵 or sesame paste noodle. If you are into spicy food, they make their own chili oil and I think it’s really bomb.
