Xitun District, Taichung City｜明心園素食館

We walked by this place a few times and it was always packed, so we decided to pick up some veggies. We loaded up on everything we wanted to try, and it ended up being around 100 NTD for a healthy assortment of items. My favorites were the mushroom and seaweed dish and the tofu block with ginger on top -- the tofu was soft and had a strong savory flavor throughout, which was quite remarkable and delicious! Definitely a great deal and delicious food. If I lived in the area, I would come at least once a week!

Vegetarian buffet - 30 or more vegetarian dishes to choose from. Seasonal and daily variegations. Charged by weight. Noodles, soup, rice (options white, red or grain). Great food, fantastic value and nice owners.
