It’s a hidden gem in a quiet alley near central Kaohsiung. You may have to make a call or book a seat to access the bar. The bartender (老蕭) is really knowledgeable and willing to share his rationale of cocktails. Despite the cocktails being creative, I’m actually not a big fan of too much sweetness and sourness tastes, where most of signatures are so full of flavor. I would recommend more for some classic cocktail, and you may consider some twists based on those classics.

Hidden place, enjoy here atmosphere, bartender is very chatty sharing the knowledge of Janpan’s whisky , the cocktail with great taste, the one of high quality bar in Kaohsiung.

This is the benchmark for what I love to experience in a bar. The food is great so feel free to try anything on the menu, but the drinks are the real gem. The bartender knows what it takes to make “having a drink” feels more like an adventure, bringing back the nostalgic “speakeasy” vibe from the early 1900s in a retro fashion.
