Wanhua District, Taipei City｜Popcorn Chicken King Ximen

Came here twice because the Taiwanese fried chicken (option 1 on the menu) was just that good. Tasty, crispy, fresh. Easy to order and seats available.

A little steep price wise given the serving sizes but very convenient for travelers as they have a visual for most of their food and an english "menu" to guide foreigners. Popcorn Chicken is a must try as the leaves are a great fresh balance to the salty fried chicken.

This branch has a pretty extensive vegetarian menu. 麦克鸡块 - Favorite item of the bunch. Nuggets plus seasoning powder takes it to a whole new level. 白页豆腐 also works well with the batter and seasoning. 素甜不辣，素花枝圈 is also good. 素盐酥鸡 is decent, just surprisingly not to my personal taste preference compared to the other items. Highly recommend.
