Wanhua District, Taipei City｜Bar Wish 慾室

Came upon this place looking for a drink after most other bars were closed. Clean, modern, and professional. Bartenders were nice, welcoming and their menu is delicious. It seems they also infuse their own liquor shots for both consumption and cocktails. For foreigners, I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. Whether you’re alone or with a group, they have a bar counter (for solo travelers like me) and tables for small and big groups. Use Google Translate whenever there are language barriers. At least one bartender seems to be moderately fluent in English (for foreigners). The menu is in Mandarin, but I would recommend you talk to the bartender. They ask you what kind of flavor you’re looking for and try to adjust and craft the cocktail to your tastes. If you’re visiting, be eager to try their cocktails. They are very proud of it - and for good reasons: they’re delicious. And of course - please be respectful and nice to these bartenders. They do genuinely care to give you the best experience.

Yes... no signage, pink glowy metal plastic like door....you're at the right place. If you're a fannof cocktail, this is a great place in taipei! Very unique dessert, mixologist is very detail oriented. Very delicious drinks that feels like traditional dessert with a twist of naughty alcohol. Loads of love from Malaysia! 🇲🇾 Look forward to be back again! Highly recommended 🥰

These guys are great! I only had time for a quick drink, and the bartenders were super cool and the drink was great! Decor was great also. It's in an alley and not super obvious, has a speakeasy vibe about it. Great English spoken too if that's a consideration.
