Da’an District, Taipei City｜尬聊夫婦 餐酒館

I come to this restaurant at least once a week. At first, I came here to enjoy the occasional drink, but it wasn't until later that I realized that this place had one of the best menus in all of Taipei. The owners' names are "Ken" and "Barbie," which, how can you not love that? Barbie is the chef in the kitchen and she is well versed at what she does. She can sauté, bake, grill, and deep fry like you wouldn't believe. Most impressive to me, is that she can grill a fish to perfection. A lot of what Barbie does is inspired by traditional Taiwanese cooking. If you're looking for an authentic experience, then this is where you need to be. Ken has been in the service industry for the better half of a decade. No matter how busy the restaurant gets he somehow manages to deliver excellent service, no matter what. If you're in the East District of Taipei, the restaurants here are often packed, noisy, and overpriced. This place has become a haven for my friends and I looking for a chill place to enjoy cold drinks and delicious food. If you're in the area you have to come here. If you're visiting from abroad, then this place is definitely worth a look.
