Newly opened for 3 months sushi restaurant with 9 seats bar counter, free flow of miso soup and barley tea. This shop is singlehandedly run by a cold and quiet young guy. We came as a family, 2 adults and 2 kids. It was a weekday lunch at almost 2pm. We were the only ones dining at this hour. The shop was empty. Almost thought that the shop was closed as the boss does not seem to be doing business nor want our business. Haha. Chanced upon this shop on google maps as we were visiting the National Museum of Natural Science. 2 minutes walk away. Was definitely impressed with the reviewers' ratings. We asked the boss if there was any cooked food for our kids as we weren't sure and we were not local. Hence, having some challenges reading the menu, especially the chinese fish names. Luckily, the boss can help to translate for us. Food was excellent. Fish is very fresh. Food display was excellent and on point. Husband reordered the Lobster salad handroll for me and himself after having the first one himself. Crab roe chawanmushi was mind-blowing. Even the pickled ginger is homemade, and I had to pack it back despite not being able to consume everything during the meal. Highly recommended. Do support this quiet young chap. If only the boss was more engaging, we would have ended up spending even more money there. 🤣

Food was served with the upmost professionalism and chef is very passionate and dedicated to his food. Price is also reasonable and ingredients are fresh
