Taoyuan District, Taoyuan City｜小滷房創意水餃，滷肉飯

I was in taoyuan for a business trip and decided to stop into this quaint shop for a bite to eat. They are famous for their braised beef rice a specialty that isn't to be missed in Taiwan but it's the dumplings that really impressed me. Definitely the best I've ever had. I would recommend anyone who is in taoyuan to visit. It's slightly more expensive than street food but is amazing value for money, roughly £1 for 5 dumplings! Especially when you consider how clean the establishment is. I would recommend the shrimp roe or the spicy pork dumplings but let's be honest, at this price you could try them all and take some home too!

Creative dumplings are featuring dish of this Taiwanese braised food restaurant. If you’re tired of traditional flavor (cabbage pork), you must try this. Crab roe dumpling is so special.

The taro, cilantro cheese, and intestine dumplings were great. Glad we made the trip to Taoyuan to try the dumplings here.
