Central, Hong Kong｜The Old Man

Went to my first Hong Kong bar with my boyfriend and I'm so glad we chose this place to go to. It was such an unforgettable night in Hong Kong night life and set the bar very high for any other bars I've ever tried. I was looking for a chill bar with a good vibe and atmosphere and I got that and much more. The cocktails here were incredible and so unique. Each item on the menu had its unique touch and definitely drinks I've never seen at any other bars which I loved. Something new and refreshing which is incredibly rare. The taste of every drink was made with precision and perfection. The combination of flavours was just the right amount of every ingredient. The workers were very helpful in explaining the origin and specifics of every cocktail. I ordered "The sun also rises" and "demons got darker". Both were delicious in their own way. 'Demons got darker' is a refreshing cool drink and 'The Sun Also Rises' is a lot stronger and sipping type of drink. You'll be able to find a drink that's just right for you. Servers always looked after us during our time here. Super friendly staff and very social which I really appreciate making it an unforgettable evening on our last night in Hong Kong. They joked around with us and really made us feel comfortable and welcomed. We even celebrated one of the staffs birthday, to which I hope you have an incredible one! Although it was busy which is to be expected, the workers made sure we were always looked after and got us a seat as soon as possible. Thank you to all the workers last night for your hard work and incredible spirits! If we ever travel back to Hong Kong, I will definitely be coming back! If you're ever in Hong Kong and need a refreshing experience, this is the hidden gem you need to visit! Highly recommend!

It's a cocktail bar, no wine, no beer, just cocktails. But the creations are really impressive. Tried different drinks before, all amazing, in terms of presentation and taste. One drink i especially like is the Movable Feast. It doesn't look any special but when you chew the leaf on the ice while drinking the cocktail, it gives you a taste of oyster!!! It's unbelievable. No wonder it's named one of the World's Top 50 bars.

Love this little hidden bar in Central. From the ambiance to the service, everything was on point. The bar is always full, so please be understanding with the staff as they try to be as accommodating as possible. They are super friendly. As soon as they attended us, they brought us to a side table while we were waiting for a table to open up. There, we enjoyed watching the bartenders make everyone's drink. We placed an order and vibed with the music and staff. The drinks were enticing and enjoyable. It was a perfect match to the bar's ambiance. I would definitely recommend the "Papa Doble". Love the strawberry jerky that comes with the drink. "It takes 2 days to make, so please enjoy it". Worth mentions: if you like something out of your comfort zone order the "The Sun Also Rises".
