This little unassuming restaurant receives all 5 star ticks. Travelling worldwide and being a lover of Japanese sushi, this is our "go-to" sushi restaurant in Hong Kong. You might ask why? Sushi is easy to find in just about every city, however, am fussy on freshness, particularly when it's sushi or sashimi. Here I find the rice is fresh and that's a big factor for me, as well as of course, the raw fish which I do prefer it served well chilled. The food here is wonderfully fresh and prepared upon ordering much like a sushi bar. The restaurant decor is aged and humble. The owners are kind and delightfully polite and always ensure the food is served well. We visit good restaurants in other cities such as London, however, this one exceeds them well and truly on freshness. They certainly deserve this review. One of our favorite dishes there, particularly on a hot day, is their own dish - salmon salad. Raw salmon served a super chilled crisp iceberg lettuce leaves, dressed with what tastes like balsamic vinegar finished with springling Wasabi dressing. Gorgeous and refreshing before enjoying their freshly prepared sushi. Yummy!

very reasonable price and good quality 👍🏻

Why give 5 stars? I have been walking on this Nathan Road for 40 years, and I used to live near this store. I dare say that there are only two stores in this division that have not changed their location or name for at least 25 years. One is the nearby Yokozuna Japanese Noodles, and the other It is this Mitsui, both of which are Japanese-style restaurants, which proves that these two Japanese restaurants are really recognized! Mitsui Keong has a big place, with large tables and small tables and bar counters, which are wide and comfortable to sit in, so you don't have to wait for a seat all the time. My favorite is the optional afternoon tea set, yes! You read that right, Japanese afternoon tea. . . There are many kinds and delicious food, and it is very cheap! I love to eat hot pot at night. . . I have moved far away now, but I still come back often to eat, three minutes from Yau Ma Tei MTR station, don't miss it!
