Sheung Wan, Hong Kong｜Dim Sum Square

First time visiting HK and I wanted to eat Dim Sum during our stay. Our meal was absolutely delicious. I ordered some recommended dishes based on other reviews and some that stood out on the menu. We were seated as soon as we arrived and did not have to wait long for our food even during peak lunch hours. I particularly enjoyed the iced milk tea. I didn’t check in advance that it is cash only but they pointed out the nearest atm. We’ll probably return during our stay to eat some more 😋

Came here for dinner as 4 pax after work, and they serve dim sums even at night. The place was pretty chill and we were brought to our tables as soon as we entered. The food IS AMAZING. I’ve been to a few dim sum places which are alright and hence never placed much expectations on dim sums. But the pork buns are so good - the crust is flaky and buttery and the filling is just sufficient. The rice rolls were so silky and soft, with the right amount of sauce. The carrot cake was so surprisingly soft and fresh as well. All the dishes came out hot and fresh! To make the dining experience even better, it was actually cheap for Hong Kong standards. Definitely definitely recommend this place

I just came from there. It was clear I got there toward the end as the buns weren't perfectly wrapped. Who cares they were so good. Pork stuffed crispy buns 😋. I just want to bag a bunch & bring them back to the USA. If you stay at The Mercer Hotel, it's in the middle of several great noodle spots & right next to the train. This place is a 2 min walk and a must go.
