More Comments at Google MapIshinabe Cafe is newly opened on Tung Choi Street, specializing in handcraft udon served with homemade soup base in a hot bowl. We were lucky to beat the crowd at around 6pm. Once we were settled, we saw the restaurant filled up quickly and a queue appeared outside the restaurant. We were determined to get udon instead of rice. However, we took quite some time to decide what toppings and soup base to get, as all the pork chop, chicken fillet, beef and eel on the menu look so good! The variety of soup bases amaze us. I was tempted by the black truffle soup base, but ended up getting this spicy one for a cool evening. It was served hot. By hot I mean bubbling hot! It’s actually quite delightful to see the soup still boiling. So I waited some time for the bubbles to die down, and soak the raw beef to cook it. The udon was so smooth and al dente! Love it! The beef was delicious too! The soup base tasted a bit like those that come with Korean instant noodles. Not spicy enough though. I wish I ordered the black truffle one… The portion was quite generous and we were rather full after the meal.
The hot stone pot hand-made udon warms my heart! I ate again the day before yesterday, and ate again yesterday, and today I decided to eat noodles or udon. My friend and I walked to a restaurant called Shi Guo Tang on Tung Choi Street for dinner. The decoration of the facade is quite beautiful, and when you enter, you can see the walls are painted with characteristic patterns. Open the table paper and see that the main dishes are hand-made udon in stone pot and rice in stone pot. Flipping the dinner paper, it turns out that there are some other dishes behind. I saw creative omelet rice, Iron Man cooking, three Baidu hot stone fish sauce kombu green tea pickled rice and so on. In the end, I chose stone pot hand-made udon. I ordered a teriyaki chicken chop stone pot hand-made udon, with black garlic oil tonkotsu soup, $66. Seeing that the menu reads "served in a special stone pot, up to 300 degrees Celsius, to keep the soup base hot", it looks like it should be very hot. When the staff delivered the stone pot hand-made udon to my counter, the soup in the stone pot kept boiling, with a lot of bubbles rolling, which was so eye-catching. Pork-flavored soup base. Served with sliced garlic. Garlic slices have a garlic flavor, but they don't have the spicy taste of eating raw garlic, so it tastes good. There are also some carrots and corn kernels as side dishes. The key point is to talk about the teriyaki chicken chop. I thought the sauce on the chicken chop was roast sauce, but it tasted a bit like Swiss sauce. Salty and sweet. It's a bit like Swiss chicken wings, but this time it's Swiss chicken chop. There are also some sesame seeds on top. The overall feeling is a few mouthfuls. Moreover, the portion of the chicken chop is thick, the meat is tender, and the meat is delicious. Normally chicken chop udon is usually served on separate plates, but this restaurant also served it on separate plates, but to my surprise, usually other restaurants have chicken chop on the plates, but this one The restaurant first puts an iron net on the plate and then puts the chicken chops, so it feels a bit novel when you see it. As for my friend, he also ordered Teriyaki Chicken Steak Udon, but he ordered Japanese Curry Soup, $66. Teriyaki Chicken Chop was the same as mine. The key is that his soup base is curry-flavored, but mine mainly has garlic slices. The side dishes inside are roughly the same as udon. The two udon soup bases have their own characteristics. The curry will not be very spicy, so it should be suitable for friends who can't eat too spicy. Before finally getting ready to pay the bill, a beautiful long-haired staff member brought dessert, saying it was free. Handed over tissues again, the service attitude was good, and there was a smile. Finally, I ate a red bean and fruit for the end, frozen and cool. In the end, I found $145 for two people, with an average of $72.5 per person.
Nice place , good service , nice food , luv it 🔥♥️
