More Comments at Google MapThe Butchers Club has now been reinvented into a steakhouse. Though you can still order their classic burger, you can now order steak and other items. They have an excellent wine selection which changes regularly on whatever they purchase from the wholesalers and sell it to you for a low price. Their focus is dry age and wet age steaks from Australia and the US. Prices are fairly reasonable and dishes are large enough to share. Cook in the steak was perfect. Also suggest the clam chowder as there is lots of bacon and the crab cakes as it's all crab. Food was delicious and service was extremely friendly. Located in Quarry Bay, located just a few minutes walk from both Quarry Bay and Taikoo Shing MTR stations.
The Butchers Club Grille locates right between Quarry Bay and Taikoo Shing, where it is an excellent choice to catch up with friends working around there! It takes only 5 to 10 mins to walk from both MTR stations and it certainly saves time from finishing work to choosing chill and relaxing places for gatherings. 🍽👯♀️ Walking inside the restaurant, there is a half-open kitchen, so we can have a glance at what the chefs are preparing for us. I really like the interior design and it is a fashionista choice. The other side is a lot of tables that fit a small or larger group of friends. There are many choices from starters to mains dishes and desserts. A friend of mine share the Butter Baked Crab Cake ($168) and Avocado Caesar Salad ($88). The staff recommends enjoying the Crab Bake with the Red Pepper Remoulade sauce aside. It is so rich in texture with every bite full of sliced crab. And the portion of salad is reasonable with half fresh avocado, sliced cheese and fried bacon. Then I had the Linguine Truffle Carbonara ($158). Raw egg yolk is put above the spaghetti and surrounded by fungi. The set is attractive enough to give it a try! My friend chose the Australian M3 Wagyu Striploin 230g ($228) in medium rare as her main dish. It is soft and juicy in texture and the beef is very tender. Only if it can add a little bit of sauce on the side and it would be perfect! Lastly, we had the 70% Molton Chocolate Cake to end up for the meal. It serves in melting chocolate with vanilla ice cream and is so classic and delightful.
Okay, I'll admit its kinda crazy sitting outside when it's literally burning hot and I was sweating like a pig but chilling with a glass of wine on the patio felt so relaxing. Not to mention, Thursday afternoons offer free truffle fries, so what's not to love eh? And it's Buy-1-Get-1-Free for Happy Hour from 4 or 5 until 8pm. With beer, wine, cocktails and crunchy fries—c'est la vie, baby!
