Sheung Wan, Hong Kong｜Halfway Coffee

Came here for a great coffee, and great coffee we got. Love that they serve your coffee in a unique cup that different from one another. Their coffee is not to acidic and strong. When you pay with cash, watch for the cashier to pull a cauldron to put the money in. So unique.

A very atmospheric coffee house - it’s quite small but has plenty of personality and charisma, with a lot of old style Hong Kong furnishings and tableware. They have a very instagrammable wall of traditional Chinese cups which they use for the coffee! The latte was nice, very well presented and tasty. I had the avocado on toast, and although very delicious; it was quite on the pricey side! Highly recommend if you’re in the Sheung Wan area and have a love of coffee.

The best coffee I had in Hong Kong. The wet foam of the flat white is excellent! 👍🏻 The staffs are very friendly and managed to get two indoor seats for us despite the shop is mostly full. There’s a small area called “Halfway Museum” aside the coffee shop to showcase the collections of cups and plates of the owner, worth checking in and hear some stories behind them. The only downside is the lemon tart, too sweet (well maybe not sour at all), small sized, not what I expected. But overall still a great place I would recommend.
