Central, Hong Kong｜Birdie

The restaurant has a great comfortable atmosphere. We came here on a Friday night and made reservations for 6:30pm. We got seated at the bar. Even though the chefs are cooking right in front us, there is not a strong cooking smell that would stink up our clothes. The chef does a good job to make sure each dish was prepared with great presentation. The food is absolutely delicious!! I ordered the Peach Plum under wine category and it was good. The potato salad and jewelry egg was amazing! Must try!! We enjoyed our dinner very much. The staff was super professional and nice. I didn’t think the skewers were too salty as many reviews say. I think it is just perfect for my taste. I would definitely come back and recommend my friends to try Birdie. Good vibe. Good food. Thank you!

Should make a booking via Resy as impossible to walk in usually. Best yakitori in town and much better than Yardbird! Don't bother with the sides as nothing special but just go for the yakitori.

One of the best izakaya restaurants I ever had! All the kushiyaki, yakitori and appetisers are so good. High recommend the chix thighs and the pork belly with shiso. They know how to do the chicken right!!
