More Comments at Google MapThoroughly excellent Japanese restaurant with great food, good service, comfortable environment. A popular destination in the neighbourhood. Lunch sets range from HKD100-200 depending on what you order, while dinner sets range from HKD180-300. There is a two-person dinner set with nice variety that, for most appetites, should work for three. In short: all the food is good. From the many options we have tried, nothing has disappointed. -Sashimi rice is excellent and generous. The salmon - scallop - sea urchin combo is always a favourite. -Grilled items also well executed - miso cod is especially good. Perfect texture, flavourful, nice hit of sweet and savoury. -Sushi rolls well-crafted: good balance. Especially soft shell crab. -Pork bone broth udon is rich and flavourful. -Fried rice quite good and also done well. Good heat and texture. -Most sets come with free ice cream at the end, which is always a plus. Not the artificially flavoured type either.
A very spacious local cozy Japanese restaurant. Very helpful and friendly staff who can offer good recommendation. All dishes are very yummy!
I've been here a multiple times prior to the covid-19 outbreak because this place always serves fresh sashimi bowl with a satisfying portion at a reasonable price. It's no different when I visited again last week. The toro and sea urchin bowl was filled with minced toro, so much that you can have a good chunk on every bite with the rice. It comes with additional scallop and shrimp which was a surprise because you usually won't get all these goodies at under $200. The set comes with a miso soup and ends with a scope of ice cream, what more can I ask for? If you are not into raw fish, they have a long list of cooked food (in sets) that you can choose from.
