Cheap, cheerful, and charming! The best lunch spot to get your Japanese fix in Central and SoHo, IMHO.

One of the best hidden Japanese restaurants in Central. An unassuming shop front houses some of the best food in Central. It's an izakaya at night, but coming here for lunch is great as well. The set lunches are very affordable, with fresh ingredients and great execution on the dishes. Staff were friendly and made great recommendations. They have a daily don of the day and mine was the hamachi and negitoro don. The hamachi was fresh and the negitoro was plentiful. I highly recommend you make a reservation as there will be a wait during lunch time if you don't.

One of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Hong Kong, serving Okinawan fare. Skewers are beautifully roasted and extremely delicious. Kinjo-san is warm and welcoming. A must visit.
