Wan Chai, Hong Kong｜Kaetsu at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong

We had Teppanyaki. There are two set menus to choose from for dinner, and two of us were dining so we ordered one set each, so we both got to try a bit of all the dishes. What an amazing experience! Each dish was very tasty and delicately prepared. The highlights were the lobster and the papillote, and the fried rice with the scrambled egg on top was so a great hearty finish to the meal. Definitely recommended for a special occasion because it is quite pricey!

Very enjoyable Teppanyaki at Teppanroom. Chef Oscar was very friendly and we enjoyed his culinary skills. We celebrated my birthday and was given a special dessert. Would highly recommended this place. This place is popular as seats are limited. Suggest you reserves the seating early especially if it’s for ur special occasions.

Had wanted to try the Teppanyaki but I booked Kaetsu instead as I tot it was the same restaurant (but it isn't!) We ordered different dinner sets - Kaetsu with cod fish main for me and Waygu beef for the Mr and it worked out well since we could try different stuff. We also ordered the 2yr jyukusei umeshu which was sweet yet not coy (we both loved it!). The bill came up to almost 3k HKD but food was excellent, atmosphere was zen and service impeccable.
